Mystic River truly harmonzie with the setting steeped in history and beauty. The Nantahala Gorge is the infamous Trail of Tears the displaced Cherokee native Americans had to endure. Today the Gorge and the Nantahala River are a magnet for nature and adventure seekers, the most popular whitewater River east of the Mississippi, and one of the most loved of all whitewater rivers. The Cherokee now have their own independent communities in the area, with casinos and hotels.
Plenty of amenities and activities abound here, including the rustically elegant waterfront clubhouse, a 10-acre waterfront park, and an outdoor pavilion on our own private island. Members have immediate access to fly fishing, rafting, kayaking, swimming, or simply reading a favorite book by the river's edge.
